Lahontan Cutthroat Trout Natural Area ISA
The Lahontan Cutthroat Trout ISA(Instant Study Area) is an 12,000+ acre area that straddles the north end of the North Black Rock Range in The Black Rock Desert NCA. It is a beautiful place with running water , Quakies ( aspen) and a very Wild flavor. The LCT NA was established in 1973 to preserve and protect the threatened Lahontan Cutthroat Trout.
