Lil' Washoe Lake

I have been driving to Carson City for the last few months and I've been itching to get on the ground in Washoe Valley to shoot. I woke up early on Saturday and set up near Little Washoe Lake. I had witnessed some great sunrises on my way through the valley and was hoping for a real barn burner. I was a bit disappoint at first, but the screaming hawk flying above me and the deep red glow on Mt Rose more than made up for it. I played around with my Singh-Ray /Rowell filters and used them for three of the images posted, including the 18 second exposure of the rabbitbrush above.
