I fought the urge to sleep in this morning and took a chance that the rainstorm we had last night would be clearing. Lucy my now faithful companion (Judy’s adopted sister) went up to the Huffaker Hills before sun up. The Carson Range & Mt. Rose were socked in at first but started to clear by first light. We had a good hike, Lucy spotted a few rabbits, and to my chagrin she chased them, but they were way too fast for her. Barby and I have a big family day planned today starting with my somewhat famous Dutch oven "Mountain Man Breakfast" then Barby's home cooked Turkey Dinner with friends and family. With so much craziness in the World, we should take time this Thanksgiving Day to get our priorties squared away. For family & friends are what is truly important to us and ours are healthy, happy, and safe...We are blessed.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all...
