WooHoo!

It seems like winter has finally arrived in Northern Nevada. I heard all sorts of different reports on how much snow we have received so far, even as much as two feet up high. I timed my lunch perfectly today and caught a break in the storm as it moved across the landscape. The light was difficult, because the sun was high in the sky, and I had to shoot into it. I wanted to capture the clouds as they hung low in the valley, and I wanted some shots of the fresh snow to post today so I tried to work with it. The snow was squeaky, powdery, untracked stuff. The shot of the three rocks is my favorite from my lunchtime shoot.
